PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A 36-year-old man was arrested Thursday after pulling a gun on a crowd of protesters in downtown Portland.
A large crowd rally for Black Lives Matter had gathered near the justice center around 8 p.m.
The protest remained peaceful, until a man pointed a weapon at the crowd.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Michael Strickland is facing menacing and disorderly conduct charges. He’s due in court Friday.
