Trump And Johnson Censored From Google Search For Presidential Candidates

Need to know who’s running for President of the United States? Don’t Google it.

Searching for ‘presidential candidates’ brings up a handy guide above all of the other search results with pictures of candidates with active campaigns. Clicking on a picture brings up searches for the candidates.

The only problem is that Republican candidate Donald Trump isn’t included. Neither is Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.

Results are shown for Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.



There results were unchanged at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Since then, the site removed the widget listing candidates.

In a tweet on July 17, Green Party candidate Jill Stein posted a screen shot of another version of the guide showing five candidates. Sometime between then and this morning, Donald Trump and Gary Johnson disappeared.
