There’s an old Greek saying that goes like this: “The man may be the head of the household. But the woman is the neck, and she can turn the head whichever way she pleases.”
That certainly seems to be the case with the Obamas, though in their situation, we’re dealing with much bigger things than just a household.
Obama is the leader of the free world (unfortunately), yet he lets Michelle push him around like a bully on a playground.
You can’t really blame the guy – Moochelle looks like she could lay that mom jeans-wearing sucker out with one punch – but it’s still pathetic.
This week, as devastating floods ravaged Louisiana during the Obama Family’s Martha’s Vineyard vacation, our loathsome First Lady was calling the shots for her husband once again.
Everyone knows Michelle loves her vacations, as taxpayers have been paying for her to jet-set around the world since 2008.
But Michelle is also very controlling about how her family spends their time while on vacation, and she doesn’t like for her husband to work at all during this time.
Thus, it was Michelle who apparently put her foot down and prevented President Obama from going to Louisiana, despite the regrettable optics it created.
She did, however, allow him to sneak away for a fundraiser in support of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on Monday night.
Priorities, priorities…
We’ve heard some pretty lame excuses for Obama’s absence in Louisiana.
Most notably, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told reporters “the president can’t be everywhere,” moments after revealing Obama was on the golf course at that exact time.
But ignoring Americans who are dying and losing everything just to appease your nagging wife? That’s pitiful.
