A Blount County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot near Knoxville on Thursday, officials confirmed.
The wounded narcotics officer was taken to UT Medical Center–a condition was not known.
According to WBIR, the shooting happened on ‘Kerrway Lane near the end of Pellissippi Parkway.’
A suspect was reportedly in custody.
