Sheriff’s Office Hands Kaepernick Some VERY BAD NEWS – He Never Expected This

It’s one thing to disrespect your country and the law enforcement officers who keep it safe, it’s another thing to then try and justify your pathetic actions with lies.

That is exactly what disgraced 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick did after he refused to stand for the National Anthem, though.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said of his protest. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Kaepernick went on to belittle the extensive training police officers undergo by saying:

“You can become a cop in six months, and don’t have to have the same amount of training as a cosmetologist, that’s insane.”

But as it turns out, the only “insane” thing going on is Kaepernick’s diarrhea of the mouth.

A Bay Area law enforcement agency is calling him on his bullshit in a Facebook post that destroys his offensive lies by extending an “open invitation” to visit the Sheriff’s Office Regional Training Center, so that he could learn firsthand the rigorous training cops must undergo.

“We would like to cordially invite you to the Alameda County Regional Training Center (RTC) in Dublin, CA. The RTC is currently in session hosting our 156th and 157th basic police academies. In addition to the academy, we train thousands of law enforcement officers from throughout the state and country in all aspects of our profession, including use of force,” states the post.

“We have a specially designed Use of Force simulator that puts officers in situations where they must make split second decisions on what actions to take. In addition, we invite you to meet with our current academies and veteran officers to talk to them about their experiences and yours.”

“We hope that you will take this opportunity to meet with a new generation of law enforcement officers and have an open dialogue,” concluded the sheriff’s office.

MRC Blog reported:

“He’s opened up dialogue,” said Sgt. Ray Kelly. “We’re always talking in this country about the need for more dialogue, well, this is a teachable moment for Colin Kaepernick. And he’s followed by hundreds of thousands of fans and this is really an opportunity to change the mindset of thousands of those people.”

Kelly went on to say that Kaepernick was way off with his figures, pointing out that a deputy gets 2,000 hours of training over 11 months before starting active patrol, contrasting that with the 1,600 hours California requires for a cosmetology license. He said that the football player’s assumptions have no basis in reality.

“He’s assuming that we’re taking these people out of society that have no life experience, no education, no military training, nothing, and that six months later we’re handing them a gun and putting them on the street to go out and kill people,” Kelly said. “There’s so much more to it.”

Do you think Colin Kaepernick will take the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office up on their offer? It’s quite generous, considering he is currently the most hated athlete in America among law enforcement officers.

I, for one, won’t hold my breath waiting for the disgraced quarterback to do the right thing. He’s already proven himself to be totally self-entitled and disrespectful, quite the opposite of our hard-working police officers. It’s quite ironic, actually.

Share this report if you support the police and think that if Colin Kaepernick likes to sit so much, he should spend the rest of his unimpressive career warming the bench!
