The guys at IDF Training in Victoria, Australia, pride themselves in teaching practical skills and techniques that can be used in the real life situations.
In this video that was posted on their website, a Rabbi from Melbourne was forced to defend himself against an enraged man that had cornered him and then slapped him.
However, little did the man know, the Rabbi is actually a student who has been trained by the instructors at IDF training.
The story was covered by the local news in Australia and the video quickly went viral across martial arts and self-defense websites. To date, it has already been viewed over 500k times.
Footage shows the 39-year-old man arguing with a group of Orthodox Jews outside the Adass Israel Synagogue in Ripponlea.
The man, who was wearing a red shirt, a pair of board shorts and no shoes, had been walking with three others towards the nearby train station when he allegedly stole a kid’s scooter from outside the synagogue.
When questioned by several Jewish men, he got into a verbal argument with them. The man, who was clearly drunk at the time, then slapped one of the Jewish men in the face after he was told to “talk nicely”.
