While his wife was “participating“ in a Cleveland Labor Day parade on Monday, Bill Clinton hit the streets of Detroit to do the same. Unfortunately for the former president, though, he was verbally humiliated by a heckler, and it was all caught on tape.
As Clinton walked by, someone in the crowed shouted, “No NAFTA Boy!” in reference to the North American Free Trade Agreement which he signed into law during his first year in office.

MRC Blog reported more on the agreement Clinton signed in December 1993:
The agreement made a free trade zone between the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and it enjoyed bipartisan support. 132 Republicans and 102 Democrats signed the agreement in the the House of Representatives and 34 Republicans and 27 Democrats backed it in the Senate.
“NAFTA means jobs,” Clinton said at the time. “American jobs, and good-paying American jobs. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t support this agreement.”
GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has called for a renegotiating of NAFTA, saying it unfairly benefits Mexico at the expense of American manufacturing jobs.
“I’m going tell our NAFTA partners that I intend to immediately renegotiate the terms of that agreement to get a better deal for our workers,” Trump said earlier this summer. “And I don’t mean just a little bit better, I mean a lot better.”

Donald Trump was in Cleveland over the holiday weekend, where the response he received was quite different from the one Clinton got. The Republican nominee was given a standing ovation after speaking to African American Christians at Great Faith Ministries Church, and then gifted with a Bible and prayer shawl by Pastor Jackson.
