Black Lives Matter co-founder, Alicia Garza, sat down with Bloomberg to discuss how she really feels about her “movement”, the current state of our country and of course, the election.
Garza has been a diehard fan of Obama and the Democratic party forever, but she seems to have come to a crossroads where she really doesn’t like anyone this election. She believes Obama has failed them on racial justice because he is black himself, Hillary uses black people for votes and Trump is racist.
I find it ironic that she see’s that her people are being used and abused by Democrats, but absolutely refuses to vote for Trump.
African American’s need to WAKE UP and start seeing the Clinton’s for who and what they really are, and start voting in a way that helps them the best. The have been oppressed by Democrats too long and it’s time to make a change.
She obviously has a lot to learn, but one thing can be agreed upon, the Clinton’s don’t give a crap about black people and Obama still sucks.

Garza expressed her loyalty to Barack Obama, a man who can seemingly do no wrong in the eyes of many involved with the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Though Obama has helped push the narrative that there was racism in the police forces of the country, and that black men were seemingly being locked up because of their skin color, Garza came to the conclusion that he wasn’t doing enough about racial justice because he was himself black.
“He’s in a context where the very fact that he is a black man is to his disadvantage. You had an enormous amount of really disgusting things that were being thrown at him.”
While she seems fiercely loyal to the Democratic Party and their first black president, her loyalty seemingly ended when it came to Hillary Clinton. Speaking about the former First Lady, Garza said,
“Early on, she would say, ‘Yes, black lives matter,’ but she wouldn’t acknowledge her role in processes that fundamentally showed black lives did not matter.”
She went on to complain that the Clintons are only using the black people as props.
“The Clintons use black people for votes, but then don’t do anything for black communities after they’re elected. They use us for photo ops.”
That does not mean, however, that Garza is going to be voting for Donald Trump. When asked about what she was going to do in a Trump-Hillary campaign, she said,
“I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that we are not led by Donald Trump.”
