San Francisco police have evacuated Civic Center and the U.N. Plaza as police talk to a man who may be armed.
Police are understood to have their guns drawn, monitoring the suspect, who is simply described as being a man wearing a jacket.

There are few details at this time, except that all pedestrians have been forced to leave the area as well as motorists.
The suspect has been described simply as a man wearing a jacket.
