A video which first aired on Animal Planet has been uploaded to YouTube, where it has been viewed more than 1.5 million times and been dubbed “the stuff of nightmares” by those who watch.
Seasoned diver Scott Cassel filmed his own near-death experience with a pack of Humboldt squid in the waters off La Paz, Mexico.
