Michigan Just Stunned Hillary, Then Pennsylvania Knocked Her Out

Are Hillary and Jill Stein “stronger together?” Perhaps…

Michigan has spoken.

At least for now, Donald Trump has been certified as the winner of Michigan’s 16 Electoral votes. Trump won the state, which votes using paper ballots, by 10,704 votes out of 4.8 million cast.

As you likely have heard, Green Party candidate Jill Stein initiated the recount effort, raising more than $6.2 million in only a few days on her website. Many believe that the funding is suspicious, as at times, Stein was pulling in more than $160,000 per hour. Stein has said,  “After a presidential election tarnished by the use of outdated and unreliable machines and accusations of irregularities and hacks, people of all political persuasions are asking if our election results are reliable,” she said in a statement.

Trump says that Stein’s efforts are a money-raising scam, as she only garnered less than 1% of the national vote herself.

Stein is challenging Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, as well, and Hillary Clinton will somehow need to take all three states to overturn the announced election results.

Michigan could begin an official recount as early as Friday, but it remains to be seen. Hillary Clinton’s lawyer’s have admitted that the margin between Clinton and Trump is greater than any that has ever been overturned by a recount.

Stein and Hillary’s recount efforts were thrashed by the state of Pennsylvania today, as state officials announced that the deadline to file for a recount was November 21st.

“According to Wanda Murren, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Department of State,” the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday, “the deadline for a voter-initiated recount was Monday, Nov. 21.”

Trump won Pennsylvania by 70,000 votes, and Stein needs help from a court order to somehow force a recount. Even if she succeeds, the odds of Trump’s victory in Pennsylvania being overturned are slim.

Truthfully, there is only on relevant question that should be on the minds of Americans:

What is Jill Stein going to do with $6.2 million dollars?

An intriguing question indeed…
