George W. Bush Battled With A Poncho On Camera And Twitter Is Having A Field Day

President Donald Trump’s Inauguration was difficult for the Bush family in more ways than one…

Former President George W. Bush was criticized for lacking intelligence all throughout his Presidency. It is true, he made a number of verbal blunders that were cringeworthy.

Speaking in Washington, D.C in 2004, the Texan once said: “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

On Sept. 17, 2002, President Bush took the podium in Nashville to speak before a group of schoolchildren, parents and teachers.

Watch the video of this famous gaffe, below:

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee,” he began.

A series of awkward pauses followed. “I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says, ‘Fool me once, shame on … shame on you. Fool me… You can’t get fooled again!'”

The correct rendering of the aphorism is: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

During President Donald J. Trump’s Inauguration, but found himself back in the limelight, this time during a fight with a poncho. Take a look:

As you may expect, Twitter is absolutely teeing off on the former President for his antics.

No doubt, the liberal media is going to go after Donald Trump much in the way they did George W. Bush, perhaps even more. No wonder Obama is so smug. They always gave him a break…
