The Islamic Republic of Iran really, really doesn’t like the United States of America, and ever since its establishment in 1979 it has unstintingly made that point abundantly clear.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, a tweet accompanied by a photo claimed that the flag was being used as a doormat at the entrance to Tehran’s international airport. The disrespectful act was thought to be a retaliatory response to President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily suspending entrance to the U.S. for citizens of Iran and six other terror-prone nations in Africa and the Middle East.
