The jurist denounced by President Donald Trump as a “so-called judge” after he halted Trump’s ban on citizens of several terror-prone nations entering the U.S. once proclaimed “Black lives matter” from the bench.
U.S. District Judge James Robart, who was appointed by President George W. Bush, on Friday issued a nationwide ruled against the ban imposed by Trump’s Jan. 27 executive order. On the same night, a judge in Massachusetts, in a more limited case, ruled for the White House.
Trump expressed his feeling with the judge’s ruling on Twitter.
