At least 15 people were injured in Hong Kong on Friday evening after a man reportedly tried to throw what has been described as a “molotov cocktail” onto a MTR train during rush hour at the Tsim Sha Tsui station.
According to SCMP, the incident occurred at around 7:14 p.m. on a train traveling from Admiralty to Tsim Sha Tsui. As the train was nearing the station platform a man attempted to hurl a “molotov cocktail,” but caught himself on fire first.



Videos are circulating online showing the aftermath of the incident. In one video a man lies on the floor of the station platform with his pants on fire while passengers franctically try to put the fire out.
