A young woman will be kept in prison for many years after she used another person’s phone to record herself performing a sex act on a 1-year-old boy, according to police in Indiana.
23-year-old Jessica McCain of Lafayette, was charged with child abuse and child exploitation after recording herself performing the sex act.
The crime came to light after a woman lent her phone to McCain. When she returned the phone, the woman saw that there was a video on it that she did not record.
The woman immediately called police and handed over the video that allegedly shows McCain removing the baby’s diaper and performing sex acts on him.
Court documents state that McCain admitted to sexually abusing the boy. She has been sentenced to serve 40 years in prison.
She received one year credit for time served and the last two years of her sentence was suspended.
