Teresa Seely, mother of a student at Central Michigan University, took her concern to Facebook regarding his son’s hazing incident which caused the 19 year old a fatal allergic reaction.
Andrew Seely was claimed to be assaulted at his off-campus fraternity, Alpha Chi Rho, which CMU shut down in 2011 due to hazing incidents. The 19 year old, who has a deadly peanut allergy, recently revealed this unfortunate event that happened during the fall.
Frat member allegedly smeared peanut butter on Seely’s face after he passed out. Other reports say that the member responsible didn’t know about the allergy and that it was supposed to be a joke.
Devastated over what happened to her son, Teresa filed a police report and hired an attorney for legal assistance. Involved parties may face, legal charges, suspensions, and possible expulsion from the university.
The 19 year old has since then transferred to a different school after one semester in Mount Pleasant.
