Priyanka Moitra, who went to the fast food chain with her daughter, allegedly found a deep-fried lizard in their fries. The horrified expectant mother then went to the store manager to report the gruesome issue that made her sick and grew serious concerns for her family’s health. Expecting that the store manager would express sympathy, Moitra was taken aback about how the manager seemed to underestimate the issue and said an unapologetic “sorry”.
Priyanka then snapped a photo of the deep-fried lizard that came along with her fries, filed an FIR at the Phulbagan Police Station reporting about the terrible incident.
Enraged by the situation, her husband Sanjay Samay contacted the manager himself but said he couln’t comment on the case because he wasn’t authorized to do so. The concerned husband then took his concern to social media and tweeted the photo to McDonald’s about the not-so Happy Meal.
The company expressed that they are not taking this issue lightly and responded quickly in nature,
The Food Safety Authority came to the food chain, inspected the kitchen, and gave them the permission to get back in operation to re-open the restaurant.
However, Priyanka and her family won’t be going back anytime soon.
