Rickquel L. Kehoe, 37, is facing a child abuse charge after she took her children with her to a local bar. The woman brought her six-year-old and seven-year-old to the bar on Sunday and got drunk. Kehoe left the older child with a man she just met at the bar and then went home with the six-year-old and a different man, an arresting officer said.
An hour and more later, she realized she had forgotten the other child and Kehoe returned to the bar to retrieve the seven-year-old.
The child abuse charge relates to the older child who was left behind at the bar with a stranger. The police record says Kehoe “did commit an intentional act that could reasonably be expected to result in physical injury to the seven-year-old.”
She was arrested and taken to the Pinellas County jail on one felony charge of child abuse. Her bond was set at $5,000.
