A 64 year old woman was brutally beaten because of her son, in England.
64 year old Barbara Dransfield had her home broken into and then was brutally beaten all because her son owed a local drug dealer $100 for weed. For days her son received threatening text messages from his drug dealer detailing what he planned to do in retaliation for the unpaid drugs. Instead of replying and trying to get the money to the dangerous man, he ignored the texts. His mother paid the price for his debts.
Barbara describes hearing a loud bang in her home while she was in her bedroom. Upon going to check what the noise was from, she was rushed by two men. Both men worked for the drug dealer and one had a knife and the other had a baseball bat. She suffered multiple head and facial fractures and feared for her life during the ordeal.
The men kept asking for money, she recounts. The assault is just reaching the courts now after the July 2016 incident. Three men has been arrested and charged in connection to this crime.
