Elaine Sunwoo Williams, 47, was arrested for trying to solicit babies from unwanted mothers on Craigslist for her 14-year-old daughter, who had stated she wanted one.
Williams allegedly said to have put up the Craigslist ad, that said that any willing mothers who did not want their babies should drop them off in a “baby box” at the Williams’ home.
The mother and daughter’s scheme backfired when a concerned resident tipped detectives off about the outrageous Craigslist ad,
She was charged with one felony count of unlawful advertisement and unlawful inducement for adoption of children. Reports say that police have charged the juvenile daughter as well.
