Francisco Javier Soledad, 24, was arrested in March after the local federal prosecutors filed a complaint that accused him of producing and advertising child pornography involving a 13-year-old boy.
The Riverside County man was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that he allegedly threathened and pressured six under age boys between the ages of 12 and 15 to send him sexually explicit photographs and videos. Soledad had also published one nude image of a victim on the social platform called Twitter as what the court documents say. Reports also indicate that Soledad used Snapchat as one of his platforms with executing his dirty deeds towards the victims.
Soledad is now facing a 17-count indictment that alleges six counts of producing child pornography, six counts of using the internet to induce a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, two counts of advertising child pornography, two counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography on a phone.
According to the official court documents, Soledad had seemingly tried to adapt to different online personas last year which he did through different social media platforms to persuade minors in five different states to share their sexually explicit content of themselves. One of the official documents stated that Soledad threatened one victim that he would publicly post the images online after the unsuspecting victim refused to send additional follow up photos and blocked him on one social media website after dealing with the 24 year old maniac.
The local authorities handling the case are still working to identify all the children Soledad allegedly exploited after a search found more than 5,000 explicit photos and videos of suspected child pornography on his electronic devices that was confiscated for a thorough investigation, local officials said.
Soledad is scheduled to be subject for arraignment on April 12 and is currently out on a $170,000 bond.
The charges of producing child pornography and advertising child pornography each carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in federal prison and a statutory maximum sentence of 30 years.
