Liberal actress, Ashley Judd, lighted controversy when she tweeted that Muslim women have more rights than women in the United States.

According to Americanow.com, the actress shared a USA Today article on her Twitter account about women’s rights and quoted a single line from it: “The U.S. ranks 104th behind countries like Burundi, Serbia and Iraq.”

The tweet immediately received responses from Twitter users questioning her intelligence and knowledge regarding her tweet. People are asking what rights are not equal and where does the Constitution distinguish between men and women.

Many readers expressed confusion over Judd’s point of view.

One reader commented, “Ashley is technically correct in that there are no equal rights specifically listed in the Constitution. There is however, another document very closely related that lists quite a few very specific equal rights, about 26 to be exact.”

Others even pointed out the reality of life for women in Muslim majority countries like Iraq.

According to Angrypatriotmovement.com, if Judd truly thinks countries like Serbia and Iraq offer more rights to women than they are offered here in the United States, I would be more than happy to pay her ticket so she can live in bliss among the Muslims in one of these countries.

US Constitution laid out equal rights to women while Muslim countries do not allow women to do basic things like voting and driving.

Also, women in Muslim countries are given no freedom by their families, and they are expected to live a miserable life enslaved to a man whether it will be a father or a husband.

Judd created a bad impression to people after her tweets went viral. She is actually insulting the intelligence of every man and woman in our country.

Public said that her lifestyle does not even describe what she is fighting for. If her rights were less than the rights of women in Muslim countries, then she would not become one of the most famous and wealthiest actresses in our country.
