Playboy’s founder, Hugh Hefner, death recently shocked the public, but what is more shocking is that his wife, Crystal Harris, reportedly inherit nothing after she signed a prenuptial agreement before their nuptials.

Crystal Harris, 31, married Hefner in 2012 in a New Year’s Eve ceremony that took place at the infamous Playboy mansion. She is said to have signed an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement and is believed to have never been added the magnate’s $40million will.

Reports said that the original Playboy’s assets will be split between his four adult children, the University of Southern California film school, and several charities.

The two were originally set to marry in June 2011, however, five days before the ceremony was due to take place, Harris called it off. Before they successfully managed to rekindle things, Harris went on The Howard Stern show to talk about the break-up and admitted that she was “not turned on by Hef.”

Harris later publicly apologized for her comments and told Us that the two were hugely excited about their impending nuptials in the lead-up to the big day.

The former Playmate of the month was Hefner’s third wife and slowly moved away from modeling during their five-year-long marriage, to pursue a career in blogging.

Playboy announced no immediate funeral plans, but Hefner is expected to be buried in a plot in a Los Angeles cemetery next to Marilyn Monroe.

Celebrities from Kim Kardashian to Paris Hilton have paid tribute to the flamboyant figure who claimed to have bedded thousands of beautiful women.

His son Cooper remembered the pioneer as a “leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time”.

“My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer,” he said. “He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand.”

The firm behind the magazine described Hefner as “the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognizable American global brands in history.”
