Most of the people spend most of their time working, so who wouldn’t want to have a vacation heading out for the open country. A new startup business has introduced a modern trailer camper that will let you travel conveniently without needing a truck to pull it.
Industry titan Airstream has become interested and invested on a mini camper produced by Nest Caravans from Oregon.
The new mini camper is called “The Nest”, this trailer is said to be spectacular because it is lightweight and cheap. The materials used to build this mini trailer is a fiberglass, this makes the trailer light and can be towed by a small car. It is said to be the most affordable product of Airsteam.
The interior of the trailer is very much alike of a small sailboat cabin it has efficient space for campers. Like a modern apartment, it has hardwoods, stainless steel and multiple windows which includes skylight. Two burner stove and sink were already installed plus storage space for your long weekend trip and a seating area that can be converted into a bed.
The builder of the NESTis Robert Johans who is also a fiberglass expert. Johans is President and Lead Designer of Bend, Oregon based company. According to him, “Design is everything. Design innovation and quality. We’re taking the industry forward clean, contemporary, automotive styling. NEST looks perfectly appropriate behind your nice car.
In a press released by Airsteam, president Bob Wheeler said, “NEST is a production that conveys sophistication, simplicity and upscale modernity. It made sense for us to partner and help bring this design to market.”
He added, “We’ve been imagining a small, well-thought-out fiberglass travel trailer for quite some time and we are very confident about its potential.
To make it a perfect gateway vehicle, Airstream will make few more charges to the NEST over the few months. The vehicle is expected to hit the market summer next year after they had worked on additions and refinements.
According to Roamingtimes, the price on a base model starts at $29,995 and goes up there, depending on additional options. Perhaps when Airstream gets into mass production that price may be a little lower.
