That Dam Ride: Cyclist Plunges Down Vertical 61 Meter Wall into Water

This cyclist attempts the coolest (and dumbest) stunt we’ve seen in a long time!

Bicycling.com has the scoop…

We’ve seen a lot of awesome bike stunts, but this act of bravado filmed in Slovenia might be the craziest dam thing we’ve ever seen.

n the video, cyclist Primož Ravnik plunges headfirst down a nearly vertical 200-foot dam wall and directly into the water. He appears to have a lot of suspension helping him soften the ride, but all the suspension in the world can’t make that into a cushy end. At least he’s wearing a full-face helmet (with a GoPro, as stunt riders are wont to do) as he makes his big splash.

Ravnik didn’t risk the world’s worst belly flop for kicks. The video was filmed for GoPro’s Line of the World contest, which offers a $20,000 grand prize to the contestant who submits the gnarliest video.

And no, we won’t apologize for all the dam puns in this article.
