Professor Celebrates Barbara Bush’s Death, Says How ‘Happy’ She Is That Her Son Is ‘Really Sad’

The former first lady Barbara Bush recently passed away at the age of 92.

Barbara Bush died in her home in Texas and had been fighting a horrible life threatening disease known as COPD. Mrs. Bush was a presidential mother and grandmother of 14. Jim McGrath, the Bush family spokesman confirmed the passing of Barbara Bush on Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Bush spent her final moments getting love and attention from her family and receiving comfort care for her congestive heart failure and Graves’ disease. After she passed away many took her death very hard, including her husband.

However, not everyone was so kind about her passing away. Randa Jarrar, a young professor at Fresno State University was actually delighted about the passing of the former first lady, and the President of the school is not happy about it.

On Tuesday night, former first lady Barbara Bush passed away at the age of 92 years old. Millions of people across the country united to mourn America’s loss, but there was one person who had the opposite reaction.

Randa Jarrar, a professor at Fresno State University, tweeted that Mrs. Bush was a “generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal.” She concluded, “F**k outta here with your nice words.”

Jarrar received immediate criticism from thousands of people, but she didn’t stop. She tweeted three more times, adding to her criticism of the former first lady and even stated that she is “happy” that “George W Bush is probably really sad right now.”

“I’m happy the witch is dead,” Jarrar said in another tweet.

“I work as a tenured professor,” Jarrar said. “I make 100K a year doing that.”

Joseph Castro, the president of Fresno State, quickly issued a statement in response to her tweets:

On behalf of Fresno State, I extend my deepest condolences to the Bush family on the loss of our former First Lady, Barbara Bush.

We share the deep concerns by others over the personal comments made today by Professor Randa Jarrar, a professor in the English Department at Fresno State. Her statements were made as a private citizen, not as a representative of Fresno State.

Professor Jarrar’s expressed personal views and commentary are obviously contrary to the core values of our University, which include respect and empathy for individuals with divergent points of view, and a sincere commitment to mutual understanding and progress.

Jarrar has since made her Twitter account private and has stated that she is “currently on leave from Fresno State.”
