Right-winged candidate Republican Senator Patric Colbeck is a veteran when it comes to fighting against the liberal media or democrats in his own Party.
He is Michigan’s most conservative candidate for Governor. Back in 2012 the aerospace engineer and newly elected MI Senator Patrick Colbeck was hit hard by the media and democrats and union members. Colbeck was fighting to make Michigan a right-to-work state.
Patrick Colbeck held his ground against violent union members as he tried hard to give the workers of Michigan the chance to become part of a union. A union that supports mainly Democrat politicians and policies of the left. Unfortunatley, his fight didn’t end the way he had hoped with the right-to-work.
According to 100percentfedup:
Fast forward to 2018, and Colbeck finds himself in the middle of another high-profile battle. This time, the fight is against the intolerant Democrat Party and their friends in the media, who are attempting to destroy his gubernatorial campaign, for having the audacity to reveal his Democrat opponent’s ties to CAIR.
Last week, The Detroit News reported that Buzzfeed, a liberal activist publication, first reported on Colbeck’s comments, highlighting video of a presentation he told The Detroit News was made this month during a “see something, say something” forum with retired Homeland Security Officer Philip Haney.
The second-term state senator from Canton Township alleged a “civilization jihad” plot by Muslims to “change our system of government” in America by implementing Sharia law. The effort includes obtaining “positions of influence,” he said, noting Hamtramck now has the first Muslim-majority City Council in the country.
“But we also have somebody I will also likely be running against in the general election, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, whose parents apparently have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood back in Egypt,” Colbeck said in one clip. “This is scary stuff.”
Colbeck clarified his remarks by saying, “I’m not casting aspersions on all Muslims, just those affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.”

So, who is CAIR, and why should we care about a claim by MI Senator Patrick Colbeck that Democratic Party candidate for governor, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed has ties to this group?
Here’s how the Center for Security Policy describes CAIR: Since its founding in 1993, the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has presented itself publicly as a benign Muslim American “civil rights organization.” From that time to this, however, the United States government has known that CAIR actually is an entity founded by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian franchise: Hamas, a group officially designated since 1994 as a terrorist organization.
Evidence of CAIR’s true character as a U.S.-based instrument for political warfare and fundraising for Hamas – and the federal government’s certain knowledge of the truth – did not come to light until the largest terrorism financing trial in the nation’s history: the 2007-2008 Holy Land Foundation prosecution. In the course of that trial, FBI Agent Laura Burns testified about, and helped explain, the transcripts of wiretap surveillance conducted in the course of two planning sessions leading up to the organizational meeting of CAIR held in Philadelphia in October 1993 and during the meeting itself. Specifically, she presented proof that CAIR’s mission was to assist “Sister Samah,” its founders’ hardly opaque code-name for Hamas, as the prospect of its terror designation loomed.

Detroit News – El-Sayed is the son of Egyptian immigrants who grew up in Metro Detroit and was primarily raised by his father and stepmother, a white woman from rural Gratiot County. The former Detroit health director and Shelby Township Democrat is a practicing Muslim who has stressed the importance of the separation of church and state.
“Of course, I knew that in choosing to run for governor as an unapologetic, proud Muslim and American, I was going to contend with the ugly face of white supremacy that Donald Trump and his friends have sanctioned,” El-Sayed said Wednesday in a statement. “But I know that every day I serve this state and this country by holding us to our ideals and our constitution which empower and inspire me to serve every single person in our state, regardless of my ethnicity, color, or faith.”
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, called Colbeck’s claims “nonsense” and accused him of “stirring up further xenophobic and racist sentiments that already exist.” He called on the Michigan Republican Party to “denounce” Colbeck’s comments.
Michigan GOP spokeswoman Sarah Anderson said she had not read reports about Colbeck’s claims, “but if they are correct as to what Sen. Colbeck said, the party isn’t interested in peddling any conspiracy theories and anything he said was not on behalf of the party.”
“We categorically condemn any sort of hate speech, regardless of the source,” Anderson said.
The Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic organization that has fought against secular law, is often used as a “boogeyman to make all Muslims look suspect,” Walid said, calling arguments the group is going to overtake America is a “scare tactic.”
“Mr. El-Sayed has openly supported legalized recreational marijuana as well as LGBTQ rights,” Walid said. “These aren’t things that extremist Muslims would necessarily support or part of the Muslim Brotherhood agenda. … What I’m trying to do is point out the ridiculous nature of the claims that are being made by Mr. Colbeck.”
Colbeck said Wednesday his earlier comments were accurate and told The News his presentation was based on an “explanatory memo” discovered in 2004 that purportedly outlines the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic objectives in America.
“If there’s anything inaccurate in anything I said in any of those tapes, I’d be glad to go off and issue a retraction,” the senator said.
Asked to support his claim that El-Sayed’s parents have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Colbeck said the Democrat’s father-in-law sits on the board of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, whose parent organization was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a Texas terrorism case.
Colbeck also noted El-Sayed was a member of the Muslim Students’ Association at the University of Michigan, alleging the student group is a “friend” of the Muslim Brotherhood.
“I’m not going to say he’s part of the jihadi or anything, but he’s been in those organizations that have followed such beliefs,” Colbeck said.
El-Sayed is competing for the Democratic nomination with former Senate Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer and Ann Arbor entrepreneur Shri Thanedar.
“Patrick Colbeck is a pathetic, bigoted fool,” Michigan Democratic Party Chairman Brandon Dillon said late Tuesday. “Michigan is blessed to have a thriving Muslim community, and my party is glad that Dr. El-Sayed is a Democrat.”
Colbeck said Wednesday that critics are trying to “silence” him from telling people about the Muslim Brotherhood memo, “and I will not be silenced on this issue.” For entire article, go to: Detroit News
The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that almost 97,000 Michigan residents were born in Middle Eastern countries, including about 47,300 born in Iraq, the single largest group. That’s about 1 percent of the state population. And southeast Michigan is home to one of the largest concentrations of Arab Americans in the country.
Instead of considering the seriousness of the threat a state governor with potential ties to a terror group might pose to residents of Michigan, the media instead, chose to attack Senator Colbeck.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True The Vote, an organization committed to fighting against voter fraud, Bob Lutz, the former General Motors Vice Chair and astronaut Jack Lousma are just a few of the high-profile people who have endorsed Colbeck’s candidacy. 100 Percent FED UP has also thrown our full endorsement behind the fearless Patrick Colbeck for Governor in the state of Michigan.

Here is Patrick Colbeck’s official statement in response to the liberal media and Democrat Party attacks against him:
Patrick Colbeck released the following statement regarding media reports and public statements regarding comments he made at a homeland security discussion:
“In recent days, I have been called pathetic, a bigot, a racist, an ass, anti-Muslim, thin-skinned, ignorant, closed-minded, and a coward by Democrats and their allies in the media. What did I say to earn such derogatory remarks? During a forum featuring former Department of Homeland Security Counter-Terrorism expert Dr. Phil Haney and former Muslim Brotherhood member Kamal Saleem, I made a presentation based on the Explanatory Memorandum which outlines the strategy for what the Muslim Brotherhood terms “civilization jihad”. The Explanatory Memorandum has since been entered as evidence in the United States vs Holy Land Foundation trial. Its contents are a matter of evidentiary fact not conjecture. During my presentation, I had the audacity of stating that one of the Democrat candidates for Governor, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The evidence of these ties is undeniable. Please note that my statement was not anti-Muslim any more than associating someone with the Westboro Baptist Church would be seen as anti-Christian. My statement of his association with the Muslim Brotherhood is merely a statement of fact. His father-in-law is a board member and past President of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR was identified as an unindicted co-conspirator with the Muslim Brotherhood in the Holy Land Foundation trial. CAIR was incorporated by three leaders in the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) in 1994. The IAP is explicitly identified as one of the “friendly” organizations to the Muslim Brotherhood in the Explanatory Memorandum. El-Sayed is also a past Vice President and Member of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) which is also identified as one of the “friendly” organizations to the Muslim Brotherhood in the Explanatory Memorandum. The Pledge of Allegiance recited before MSA gatherings features “jihad is my spirit” and “I will die to establish Islam”. Quite a departure from the Scout Oath I would submit.
So, why is being “friendly” to the Muslim Brotherhood such a big deal? Is the Muslim Brotherhood simply a misunderstood charitable organization which actually seeks to share sunshine and lollipops with everyone? No. The stated objective of the Muslim Brotherhood in America per the Explanatory Memorandum is “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western Civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions”. Not one media account has shared this information. What they have asserted is that my concerns regarding connections of certain individuals and organizations to the Muslim Brotherhood are “alleged”, wild “conspiracy theories”, or “hate speech”. The more accurate media assertion would be that my assertions are a matter of evidentiary fact.
So the real question is why such a backlash? Why is it appropriate to attack someone who is pointing out that a candidate to be the next Governor of Michigan has ties to an organization that seeks to eliminate and destroy Western Civilization from within? Well, there are really only two explanations – willful ignorance or deliberate deception. Media outlets which continue to propagate all of the derogatory remarks directed towards me are guilty of one or the other.
It is now time to hold those who are making these derogatory remarks accountable. Why are they protecting the Muslim Brotherhood?
