Hogg Attempts to Sink Ted Cruz Using 1 Tweet, But May Have Sunk Himself In Process

On Saturday, a group called USA Latinx created a GoFundMe page dedicated to raising funds for a billboard or billboards that would display a tweet from President Trump disparaging Sen. Tex Cruz (R-TX).

The GoFundMe, organized by “Antonio Arellano in collaboration with Claude Taylor and David Hogg,” states:

President Donald Trump will be campaigning to help Sen. Ted Cruz win his re-election. A rally is being planned, according to Trump “at the biggest stadium in Texas.” We are planning to display the presidents’ own words about Cruz from 2016 on a mobile billboard, to remind Texans of the truth.

This is a joint effort initiated by Antonio Arellano in collaboration with Claude Taylor and David Hogg. The money raised by this account will go towards funding the mobile billboard to maximize visibility and impact. Please consider donating. Every dollar counts. Texans deserve better.

In one day, the GoFundMe page raised $9,760 — more than $3,000 beyond their stated goal. The campaign comes on the heels of President Trump’s announcement that he will be holding a rally for Cruz sometime in October:
