“The Human Rights Council doesn’t deserve their name,” Vice President Pence said in a scathing speech he gave at the U.N. meeting on Wednesday. Throughout his speech V.P. Pence cut down the HRC on everything they have been doing horribly wrong for years. He speaks about how the HRC actually attracts regimes that violate human rights in horrible and disgusting ways on a daily basis.
He is absolutely correct in his view of the HRC and taking them to task is exactly what has been needed for quite some time. Hateful regimes in countries that allow the killings, rapes, starvation, and torture of innocent people in the staggering numbers of millions worldwide need to be brought to heel and that is on the head of the HRC.
The U.N. has been failing the world’s populations for years to fill their own pockets and to further their own agenda’s of worldwide dominance by allowing those who sit in the U.N. seats to represent these evil, terrorist countries. It is definitely past time that the U.N. is either removed entirely or forced to revamp and do what they are supposed to actually be doing.
The U.N. and the HRC is in place to care for, protect, and help lift up people and places that are suffering either from economic strife or tyrannical governments, and it is apparent today that they prefer to turn a blind eye to the actions of their peers.
According to Independent Journal Review :
Vice President Mike Pence spoke before world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Wednesday and claimed the U.N. Human Rights Council “attracts and welcomes many of the worst human rights violators in the world.”
“A clear majority of the Human Rights Council’s members fail to meet even the most basic human rights standards,” Pence said.
Pence went on to call out offending nations by name:
“Cuba sits on the Human Rights Council, an oppressive regime that has repressed its people and jailed political opponents for more than half a century. Venezuela sits on the Human Rights Council, a dictatorship that undermines democracy at every turn, imprisons political opponents, and, as we speak, is advancing policies that worsen deprivation and poverty that is costing the lives of innocent men, women, and children.”
The U.S. vice president ended his scathing remarks by urging the U.N. Human Rights Council to reform itself.
“This body must reform the Human Rights Council’s membership and its operation,” he added.
Liberals would like to try and convince the American population that President Trump and Vice President Pence are hateful, bloodthirsty monsters. Too bad every action taken by the super team literally knock that rhetoric out of the water. Regardless of what liberals screech and the media broadcasts, those of us who are able to avoid drinking the Kool-Aid can clearly see the amazing hearts and charitable souls of our leadership, and we will continue to fight to support and lift them up.
It really is time that the leftist in America are taken to task just as the U.N. was during this meeting. It is time they put their money where their ignorant mouths are. They scream for all of this social repairing and charitable act yet not one of them do anything to actually fix anything they whine about. They literally spend their time whining and rioting because they want everyone else to fix it for them.
If the liberals truly cared about anything they preach, they would be out there leading by example instead of spending their every waking moment causing chaos and pain throughout our country. It kind of makes their stance look very hypocritical. Do they even have real causes to promote? Do they have any actual grievances that they work on to make right? The answer is no. They really don’t do a damn thing to repair anything they claim is broken.
Someone needs to take them by the hand and show them all the organizations and groups actually doing things to better the problems, and then teach them that hard work isn’t poison, and by working hard they will be able to solve any problem they see. Won’t happen, but it’s nice to dream.
