Dozens of women have sent love letters to Chris Watts, who is spending life in prison for murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters in August.
Prosecutors have released dozens of letters that were sent to Watts in prison.
One woman wrote, “In my heart, you are a great guy. If you do write me back I’d be the happiest girl alive that’s for sure.”
Another included hashtags in her letter, such as “#TeamChris, #ChrisIsInnocent, #LoveHim, #SooooCute.”
Watts, 33, is serving life in prison after pleading guilty to murdering his pregnant wife Shanann and their daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.
A psychologist told Inside Edition that it’s not uncommon for women to dream up a “fantasy life” with men behind bars.
“It is oftentimes what we talk about when women seem to be attracted by bad boys. It is because they want to be the special person that can turn this life around and be able to attribute that to their own self esteem,” Dr. Judy Ho told Inside Edition.
