Some people on the right often joke about a Trump curse, that once someone goes public with their Trump hatred, things start not to go well for him/her.
That seems to have now hit Johnny Depp, who joked about killing President Donald Trump.

“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” he asked in reference to the death of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.
But now it’s been officially confirmed that he’s being dropped from the “Pirates of The Caribbean” film series which has been his bread and butter for 14 years.
According to Disney, Depp, 55, is out because they want to rework the franchise.
“We want to bring in a new energy and vitality,” Disney’s production chief Sean Bailey told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I love the [Pirates] movies, but part of the reason Paul and Rhett are so interesting is that we want to give it a kick in the pants. And that’s what I’ve tasked them with.”
Disney has met with Deadpool’s writing duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to pen the script for a reboot following their success with the superhero franchise.
Johnny’s last “Pirates of the Caribbean” was “Dead Men Tell No Tales” in 2017, which was the lowest performing of the five films.
Ouch.
