Ocasio-Cortez Gets ROASTED As ‘Economically Ignorant’ By Libs After Amazon Abandons NYC

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is getting hit for every angle after Amazon decided to pull out of its deal with New York.

A spokesman for Amazon went off on the 29-year-old former bartender for her role in it, Mediaite reported.

“If you talk to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, it’s ‘Never Amazon,’” Seth told NBC. The company had already cited political opposition, for which consequence Gov. Andrew Cuomo, himself a Democrat but a proponent of the deal, loudly rebuked his party.

Seth told NBC that there was no single precipitating incident in their decision, but that “there were some local and state elected officials who refused to meet with Amazon and criticized us day in and day out about the plan.” That’s when the spox designated Ocasio-Cortez “Never Amazon”, obviously a play on the “Never Trump” label that has become ubiquitous in political conversation over the last three years.

And New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a fellow Democrat, did not mince words either.

“A small group of politicians put their own narrow political interests above their community — which poll after poll showed overwhelmingly supported bringing Amazon to Long Island City — the state’s economic future and the best interests of the people of this state,” he said in a statement.

“The New York State Senate has done tremendous damage. They should be held accountable for this lost economic opportunity,” he said.

But that did not stop the dimwit from celebrating the fact that she helped her state bleed jobs.

“Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world,” she said.

It is a statement that a former economic advisor for former President Obama said was “economically ignorant.”

“This may be the most economically ignorant statement I have ever read,” Steve Rattner said.
