The news has been filled with the pundits reporting on the tragic shooting that left 49 people dead in Christchurch, New Zealand.
However, in their round the clock coverage they are also attempting to blame it on President Donald Trump and on every person who is a conservative and National Rifle Association Supporter.
Though there is one thing that they are forgetting to mention to the masses.
They are not mentioning that it could have been worse if not for a good guy with a gun that was also there.
A Muslim man who was armed, in a nation that makes it extremely tough for anyone to be armed, likely saved many lives when he chased one of the gunmen.
The New Zealand Herald reported:
A second shooting happened at a mosque in the Linwood area of the city.
One Friday prayer goer returned fire with a rifle or shotgun.
A well known Muslim local chased the shooters and fired two shots at them as they sped off.
He was heard telling police officers he was firing in “self defence”.
“They were in a silver Subaru,” he told police.
Mark Nichols, manager of Premium Tyres and Auto in Linwood, said he a gunman ran past his shop around 45 minutes ago.
He heard five gunshots, and he believed the activity was centred around the nearby Linwood Masjid mosque.
