Hundreds of pages of evidence citing that the Clinton Foundation was involved in shady activity, has been presented by three sources. The documents allude to the fact that there was a misappropriation of funds and promises made to donors in exchange for something, during Hillary Clinton’s time as Secretary of State.
Mark Meadows, Head of the Oversight Committee, spoke with Fox News regarding the documents and shared that there will be an investigative hearing on the Clinton Foundation.
U.S. Attorney John Huber, who was tasked with investigating the foundation will hand over the evidence that was collected, so it can be reviewed at the hearing. Huber was tasked with the initial investigation by ex-Attorney General, Jeff Sessions. There are 6,000 pages of evidence contributing to the fact that the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activity, and may be responsible for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties. There was information that showed Bill Clinton comingling personal and Foundation affairs, provided by the firm, MDA Analytics LLC.
In response to the accusations, a spokesperson from the Clinton Foundation shared the following…
“The Clinton Foundation has been one of the most heavily scrutinized charitable organizations in the world and subjected to outrageous, politically motivated allegations that have been proven false time and time again. Critics continue to resurrect these false claims to try to damage the reputation of the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation. The fact is, the Clinton Foundation has demonstrably improved the lives of millions of people across America and around the world while earning top ratings from charity watchdog groups in the process.”
Meadows brought up the fact that there was a large drop in funds after Hillary lost the presidential election to Donald Trump in 2016, falling from $63 million to $27 million.
‘Whenever we look at the possibility of ‘pay to play’ by government officials, current or former, it demands answers–and anyone who uses public office to sell access for their own financial benefit must be held accountable,” said Meadows, who happens to be a close ally of Donald Trump.
Defending themselves, the Clinton Foundation said that the drop in funds was due to the Clinton Global Initiative shutting down.
Commenters have their own theories on the allegations…
“What is the betting that these whistleblowers turn out to be republicans, paid to do this?”
“No one in the mainstream media has ever asked Hillary why she intentionally destroyed over 30,000 documents that could’ve cleared her of countless allegations of wrongdoing. Think about that.”
“Eventually, the lies and deceit will catch up to her, in this world or the next.”
“Of the 33,000 emails Hillary meticulously erased from existence, I suspect at least 32,500 of them involved the Clinton Foundation.”
“Well duh. We’ve all known that the Clinton Foundation was mainly used as a pay for play slush fund. That’s why donations dried up after Hillary lost the election. Hopefully, the FBI will conduct a real investigation this time.”
And others did some shocking math…
“Only 6 cents of every dollar was donated to charity. That’s an obscene number. Even the United Way donates 25% of every dollar to charity.”
