There was a time when Will Smith was the talk of the town for all the good reasons, but since the “great slapping of 2022” at the Oscars Smith is a punchline.
The once likable actor is still reeling from his actions as they reverberate through the “slap-time” continuum, and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith is not helping.
Instead of standing by her man, Jada is busy throwing Will under the bus telling an inside source that she does not need protection.
The anonymous insider source also went on to say that Jada wished that her husband, Will did not get physical with Chris Rock.
Let’s take a quick pause here and remember what happened that Sunday evening on live television.
Jada is the one that glared at Will Smith when he was laughing at the joke Chris told.
Then Jada was caught laughing after Will smacked the comedian on live television.
Now, since the incident, Will Smith has resigned from the Academy and the majority of his films have been placed on the back burner.
However, while Will Smith deserves to face the music for his actions, there is something to be said about Jada’s actions too.
There is no excuse for what Will Smith did to Chris Rock, but I do believe there is enough blame to share between this toxic couple.
Now, this video clip has resurfaced that has many people calling for Will Smith to be “freed” from Jada’s evil grasp.
The footage is from around 2019 or 2020.
In the clip, Jada rolls up and just starts live-filming Will in the privacy of his own home. Will politely asks her to stop, and she doesn’t. She mocks and berates him about their relationship, and the marital therapy they’ve gotten, while he’s still asking her to stop filming.
Not only does she not stop filming, years later, she still hasn’t deleted the clip from her Instagram.
Gee, what a great gal she is, right?
