The January 6 hearings are one giant sham.
We all know that, but the left and their cult-like followers are still going forward with them to drum up their base just ahead of the 2022 midterms.
If they can get their base all riled up over the supposed “Capitol riots” then they can deflect their abysmal record of losing the last two years and turn into sheer panic for their supporters.
That is all the left has to run on.
Fear tactics.
There is nothing rooted in logic or facts with them at all.
Just take a look at their faux science from the COVID virus to their newest discovery of 57 different genders.
Seriously, they have more genders than Baskin Robbins has of ice cream flavors, which if I remember correctly, was about 31.
However, I digress.
The January 6 commission is a joke, but there may be another reason that they are pushing for it so hard that has nothing to do with the 2022 midterms.
Former President Donald Trump claims that Democrats’ primary goal in having hearings on the violence at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, is to prevent him from running for re-election in 2024.
I think he may be on to something here.
Joe Biden did seem to appear nervous about the possibility that Trump may run again in 2024.
Biden reportedly said at an organized labor meeting on Tuesday that Mr. Trump had left the economy in a pandemic-related shambles, despite low job approval rates and 40-year high inflation.
“Do you recall what our economy was like before we took office?” In Philadelphia, Mr. Biden stated. “Under the last person, 3,000 Americans died every day from COVID, and 20 million Americans lost their jobs.”
“So many Americans lost their jobs that my predecessor became only the second president in history to leave office with fewer jobs in America than when he left office,” Mr. Biden said of Mr. Trump. By the way, the other one was Herbert Hoover.”
Late Monday, Mr. Trump published a 12-page statement calling the House Jan. 6 committee’s work a “kangaroo court.” Democrats, he claims, are attempting to divert attention away from the economy’s crises in order to block his return to office.
“This is basically an attempt to prevent a man who is leading in every poll by large majorities against both Republicans and Democrats from running for president again,” Mr. Trump said.
Mr. Biden’s remarks to the labor convention also reminded the audience of the emergency food banks that were frequent during the pandemic under Mr. Trump’s administration to assist people who had lost their jobs.
“Do you recall the massive queues of automobiles stretching for miles to get a box of food?” Mr. Biden had inquired. “It wasn’t just impoverished people; it was middle-class people, and there were a lot of fine cars in those lines.” And, while all of this was going on, America generated more billionaires in 2020 than any other year in history. What a contrast between the two. Ordinary individuals waited an hour in line for a package of food. That’s what we got from our ancestors.”
Mr. Trump claimed that under Mr. Biden, Americans have been worse off in less than two years, citing $5 fuel and baby formula shortages.
“Our country was booming, our economy was strong, and the price of petrol was very low during my tenure in office,” Mr. Trump added. “Under Trump’s presidency, America prospered.”
“Democrats have caused record inflation, sky-high gas prices, energy dependence on our adversaries, the education system is in crisis, illegal aliens are invading our border, the supply chain has crippled our way of life, parents can’t get baby formula, mandates have crippled businesses, and government regulations have crushed our way of life,” he said.
Stocks continued to fall on Monday, with the S&P 500 entering a bear market after falling more than 20% from its high at the start of the year. In early trading on Tuesday, stocks were neutral.
According to Mr. Trump, the United States is “being decimated” under Mr. Biden’s leadership. “The Democrats know I’d fix it all, and they’re doing all they can to stop me — but we’re not going to be stopped,” Mr. Trump said.
The committee’s chairman, Mississippi Democrat Rep. Bennie G. Thompson, announced Monday that the panel will not bring criminal charges against Mr. Trump as a result of the incident to the Justice Department.
