Sometimes, even the best plans of one of the country’s most popular cable news programs can go up in smoke.
Following a commercial break during his Thursday evening show, Sean Hannity appeared on live television with his glasses on and vaping. As the last commercial break came to an end on Hannity Thursday night, Sean Hannity was unaware and got caught vaping on live TV.
As the show came back to live, the host was looking down puffing away as someone off-camera can faintly be heard whispering, “Sean. Sean.” Hannity looked up and realized he was live and immediately removed the vaporizer and set it on the desk. He then looked up at the camera with a slight smile and said, “Uh-oh.” Then he moved on to his “Villain of the Day.”
The incident quickly became a viral moment on social media, but not before the network’s Laura Ingraham had a chance to poke fun at Hannity’s on-air slip-up.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham teased him about the moment, and called it “cute.”
“Oh wait, am I on camera right now?” Ingraham teased as she drank from a water bottle. “Oh, hi.”
“It happens to the best of us, Hannity,” she added. “I mean, those little moments are cute. Those are in the forever reel of the real Hannity. Like, we want to know you.”
“Enjoy it, everybody, at my expense,” Hannity said before signing off.

This wasn’t the first time Hannity got caught vaping on camera when he thought no one was watching. In 2017, a clip was released of Hannity throwing to video, so presumably, his viewers couldn’t see him, and he immediately started puffing away. Hannity had a sense of humor about that incident just like he did this one, and good thing, because fellow Fox News host Laura Ingraham teased him about it during the hand-off.
