The entire Biden administration is a joke, and this latest news shows how much of that is true.
Now, Dennis Rodman is not my favorite person, but let’s just say that when he wants to get something done, he does.
Over the years, Rodman has been able to negotiate with leaders around the globe that are rather difficult to get along with. So, when Rodman learned that Brittney Griner was sentenced to almost a decade in a Russian prison, the former-NBA star offered his services.
Rodman was willing to secure Griner’s release, but the White House was not about to let that happen.
They did not want him to touch it with a ten-foot pole.
They made it clear publically that Dennis should not go. Repeatedly, as a matter of fact. They gave official statements about not wanting him to go and used “anonymous sources” to get their message out.
The point is that they did not want him to go.
Maybe Rodman could’ve done it. Maybe he could’ve secured her release.
It’s not like Dennis Rodman is some rando looking to get some PR. He’s had success in the past with this delicate negotiation situation with very difficult world leaders like Kim Jong-un, so who’s to say he couldn’t have helped?
Well, we’ll never know what that outcome could’ve been.
And we’ll see what the Biden admin has planned. Last we heard, they were willing to trade a high-level arms dealer for pot-tokin’ Brittney, which is absurd and a bad deal on our end.
