We simply get trapped at times. Stuck with an issue, in a predicament, in a marriage, or with a particular appearance.
Well, Vicki is all too familiar with the last two mentioned above.
She and her husband divorced after an astonishing 44 years of marriage, leaving her with years of baggage and an unavoidable rather unkempt appearance. But when she made the decision that it was time for her brand-new life to start, everything would change.
Vicki went to see Christopher Hopkins “The Makeover Guy,” in tears, thinking he could guide her through the first phase of her new journey. She was confident that Christopher’s impressive abilities would provide her with the ideal physical transformation so she could feel fabulous once more.
She starts by sharing her story but stops midway to cry. Christopher reassures her that sobbing is a healthy method to release energy. After 44 years of marriage, Vicki is of course emotional about her new life. She hadn’t dated since she was 18 and the thought of being back ‘out there’ was daunting.
She was eager to get out again and make new friends. But she did not find it to be a joyous event. She was concerned and unsure of how to handle the transition. Vicki needed a confidence boost to start the new chapter of her life, and The Makeover Guy understood this.
Hopkins wanted to go above and beyond when it came to improving Vicki’s appearance, He wanted to assist her to overcome her terrible situation, making Vicki feel young and beautiful as a way to lift her sadness for the painful divorce after 44 years of marriage.
Christopher knew he would be able to make Vicki beautiful — the big-spirited woman was certainly full of life and it was just a question of making sure her physique also reflected that.
The Makeover Guy gave her a layered haircut, a completely new color—a daring red—lightened brows, and then began applying her makeup. Her highly angular eyebrows were also softened by him, Adding some contouring, neutral lipstick, and some new eyelashes to make them shine.
Hopkins had transformed Vicki from a sad divorcee into a single woman ready to take life by the horns. Vicki was delighted and empowered by the change, and she was eager to return to the outside world.
