Iranian Television Just Aired Something That Should Make You All See Red…..

Iranian state TV has aired a propaganda video showing a missile blowing up the US Capitol building.

The propaganda video, which was released by Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards on Sunday, May 2, reportedly also features soldiers “liberating” Jerusalem.

The video was televised right before the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei spoke to the nation through the Islamic Republic’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). This video comes at a crucial time because the clip aired at a time when speculations were rife about the US and Iran nearing the resumption of a nuclear deal.

“The Americans have been for years deeply saddened by the Islamic republic’s influence, and they were angry with General Soleimani for this reason and martyred him for this reason,” Khamenei said.

It began with footage of soldiers marching, then cut away to a rocket launch, leading to the imagery of the Capitol being blown up.

The music playing in the background is a nationalistic song, according to Kasra Aarabi, an analyst with the Tony Blair Institute, the Daily Mail reported. The lyrics describe the Capitol as a “palace of oppression” and note that the “liberation of Jerusalem” comes from Iran.

WATCH:

This video was shown around the time diplomats from around the world began talks on April 30 about reinstating the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which the Trump administration pulled the U.S. out of in 2018, calling it a “horrible, one-sided deal.”

The previous administration also restored sanctions on Tehran that were lifted as a result of the initial deal made under former President Barack Obama.

In reaction to this, many including Senator Pat Toomey said should not lift the sanctions that were placed by the previous administration.

“Last week, Iran’s chief diplomat allegedly admitted the IRGC calls the shots in Tehran. Now, Iran releases a fake video of the IRGC blowing up our Capitol. The Biden admin’s priority should be ensuring Iran cannot carry out such an attack, not capitulating by removing sanctions.”
