It appears that things are changing in the Disney company and I can’t help but think it is due to parents getting involved and pushing back.
I have always said that if people want to stop the progressive movement that it will take a lot more than just posting on social media. You have to hit them where it hurts and that is in their pocketbooks.
The only way to make our voices heard is to stop giving money to these woke corporations and give our money to those who support our values.
That is what has happened lately to many companies and now Disney is hearing that message loud and clear.
Disney has brought back its former CEO, Bob Iger after he retired just two years ago and Bob Chapek was put in charge.
In a short time, Chapek led Disney down a controversial road that put them at odds with parents, teachers, and even the state of Florida.
That is not the place you want to be when you are running a multi-BILLION dollar company.
Chapek did everything to put Disney in jeopardy and it seems that the shareholders are done losing money.
Now that Iger is back at the helm, he is making his intentions clear regarding where he wants to see the company and it is not where the left would like it to be.
In a recent internal company town hall, Iger expressed his intent to pull back from political programming and “quiet things down.”
“Do I like the company being embroiled in controversy? Of course not. It can be distracting and it can have a negative impact on the company. And to the extent that I can work to quiet things down, I’m going to do that,” Iger said, in an all-but-obvious reference to Disney’s involvement on the left wing of the American culture war.

Disney’s woke programming has not only hurt the company’s reputation with customers but also fractured its relationship with a state that’s very important to its bottom line.
Iger said during the town hall that he regretted that Disney had made itself an enemy of Florida.
“I was sorry to see us dragged into that battle,” he said in another clip shared by Rufo.
“And I have no idea exactly what its ramifications are in terms of the business itself,” the executive said of the company’s squabble with Florida over the Parental Rights in Education Act, which bans the sexual indoctrination of young schoolchildren.
Iger seemingly expressed his hopes of restoring Disney in the Sunshine State’s good graces.
“What I can say is, the state of Florida has been important to us for a long time, and we have been very important to the state of Florida,” he said. “That is something I’m extremely mindful of and will articulate if I get the chance.”

I hope this is true and Iger does pull back from the far left’s agenda and gets back to just making family-friendly content and leave sexulaity out of their programming.
