In-N-Out Burger, a well-known Western fast food business, revealed on Tuesday that it will be building its first locations east of the Mississippi in Tennessee.

According to USA Today, Lynsi Snyder, owner and president of In-N-Out, said, “We are really happy to offer Tennesseans our great burgers, fries, and shakes.”

According to The Associated Press, Snyder is the granddaughter of Harry and Esther Snyder, who founded In-N-Out in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California, a city to the east of Los Angeles.

Currently, In-N-Out is available in 385 locations in the states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Colorado.

In-N-Out aims to open restaurants in the Nashville region by 2026 and will establish an “eastern territory office” in Franklin, Tennessee.

“When we’ve opened in new states, we get overwhelmed with customers so we generally try to open two in one day when we are first stepping into a state,” Snyder said. “We will start with two and probably have a third one shortly after.”

Since trucks must travel through other states to deliver goods to the Tennessee facility from the company’s Texas warehouse, Snyder said the regional expansion will likely follow.

Bill Lee, governor of Tennessee, praised In-N-declaration. Out’s

In a video uploaded on Tuesday, he stated, “A great American firm, an iconic brand, In-N-Out Burger has opted to put their first corporate base in the eastern United States right here in Tennessee.”

In-N-Out Burger is a fantastic family business that has been running in this country for decades with a value system and a method of servicing their customers that lines up exactly right here in Tennessee, he continued.

The governor proclaimed, “We’re going to get to have a double-double, fries, and shakes right here in the beautiful state of Tennessee.”

Only hamburgers—single or double stack, with or without cheese—fresh-cut fries, and beverages are offered at In-N-Out.

The restaurant chain imprints Bible passages like “John 3:16” and “Proverbs 3:5” on its cups, wrappers, and fry boats.

Rich Snyder, the late CEO of In-N-Out and Snyder’s uncle, put the words on the packaging in the early 1990s after converting to Christianity, according to The Christian Post.

Snyder also affirms his fervent belief in Jesus Christ.
