Things are really strange lately.

With all of this going on, it’s easy to forget about the recent toxic event in East Palestine, Ohio.
A train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in Northeast Ohio on February 3rd, 2023, prompting authorities to decide to conduct a ‘controlled release’ of the chemicals on February 6th.
A reported 1,000,000 pounds of toxic chemicals have been released into the atmosphere and surrounding environment since that time.
Residents near the blast were initially advised to evacuate, while those in a larger radius were advised to remain indoors and avoid going outside…
Authorities are now claiming that everything is fine—that the air is safe to breathe and that the water is safe to drink; however, some are skeptical:

According to ABC News, the controlled burn of the toxic chemicals went exactly as planned:
A controlled vent and burn of toxic chemicals at the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, went “as planned,” and “no concerning” air and water quality readings have been detected, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said Monday night.

CBS News echoed ABC by sharing Governor Shapiro’s statement:
“Air quality samples in the area of the wreckage and in nearby residential neighborhoods have consistently showed readings at points below safety screening levels for contaminants of concern.
Based on this information, state and local health officials determined that it is now safe for community members to return to their residences,” a release from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s office said.
As I said, something is way off and I am sure we won’t be told the truth any time soon.
