A reckless smoker ignores common sense and continues to smoke at a gas station, but one employee teaches him a fiery lesson that he will never forget.
A gas station is a place for refueling, not for putting people’s lives at risk of sudden death due to flammable fuel vapor. However, there is always that one stupid person who decides to ignore the common sense of not smoking at a gas station and puts everyone else in harm’s way during the process of asserting their independence from society.
Recently, a video clip was taken at a Gazprom gas station somewhere in Sofia, Bulgaria, where a Russian driver was filmed smoking a cigarette while filling up his car’s gas tank. In a true CCTV fashion, the footage is blurry, but it is clear that the man was arguing with someone off-camera. Then a station employee grabbed a big fire extinguisher and sprayed the man in the face with it.
Smoking at a gas station is always a terrible idea. A fire hazard is waiting to happen as fuel vapor can ignite at any moment. This man’s act of defiance could have put his and other people’s lives in danger. He learned his lesson in a harmless way, although intense, as the person used a fire extinguisher to put out the Russian’s cigarette.
The video has gained more than 4.3 million plays on Rumble, and people on the internet are obsessed with watching the guy who refused to put out his hot cigarette while filling up his car’s gas tank and then gets taught a lesson from another customer who is not ready to die.
The gas station employee was rightfully angry that the smoker declined to put out his cigar while pumping gas. The footage shows that the orderly made the demand verbally, but this guy just would not quit smoking, nor would he even leave the gas tanks to finish his cigarette. The gas station employee had no other option but to put out the cigarette with a fire extinguisher. The internet is loving this gas station vigilante!
People must adhere to basic safety precautions when filling up their vehicles at the gas station. Turning off your engine while filling up your tank and not smoking is a no-brainer. It’s a matter of life and death, not just for the person smoking, but for everyone else at the station. Smokers should respect the safety of others and avoid putting people’s lives at risk. The gas station employee’s action of extinguishing the smoker’s cigarette with a fire extinguisher teaches an essential lesson that safety should always come first.
