As Soon As He Pulled The Trigger On A Sawed Off Shotgun, He Regretted It Instantly… [VIDEO]

A man’s decision to shoot a sawed-off shotgun proved to be his downfall, as he was caught on video getting hit in the face after disregarding the gun’s owner’s advice to “hip fire” it, leaving him whimpering in pain and proving why gun safety is so crucial.

The video shows a young man wearing a hat with marijuana leaves taking the sawed-off shotgun out for a little bit of fun. It is unclear when the incident occurred, but the snow on the ground indicates it was during the winter months.

The gun seems to belong to the man recording the incident, as the shooter asks where to shoot shortly after the video begins. The cameraman suggests that he “hip fire” the gun, meaning it would be at about waist level during discharge. This is where things go awry.

Sawed-Off Shotgun

Ignoring the warnings of the gun’s owner, the man raises the firearm to face level, but there’s just one problem – the gun doesn’t have a stock. As would typically be the case, the force of the weapon firing, or recoil, would transfer through the stock and into the torso of the shooter. Without this stabilization, the sawed-off shotgun is forced back with only the hope that the hand of the shooter can control it.

As one would imagine, upon firing the firearm, the gun launches backward and hits the man in the face with significant force, leaving him whimpering in a similar fashion to that of a scolded dog. In the end, the impact leaves the shooter crying in agony and the owner of the weapon only able to utter, “See, I told you.”

It’s all too easy to get caught up with what we see in movies, and that was the case here. Anyone who has fired a shotgun knows that it comes with a hefty kick.

This man, however, thought it would be a little “pop,” as proven by where he held the gun just before firing.

The stock is a critical component of a firearm, particularly a shotgun, and when it’s absent, keeping the gun steady becomes nearly impossible. When the shooter got hit in the face, it was his own fault since he didn’t allow enough room to absorb the recoil’s full brunt. Instead, he caught it with his face.

This incident emphasizes the importance of having background knowledge before firing any weapon. It also demonstrates why gun safety is so critical and why more people should take it seriously. Morons like the shooter give gun-grabbers more ammunition when they try to take away our legal guns.
