Pat Robertson, a televangelist who helped the GOP make religion a prominent issue by founding the Christian Broadcasting Network in 1960, passed away at the age of 93. Crazy Liberals are now celebrating his passing, and the hashtag “rest in hell” is trending on Twitter.
In 1987, Robertson created the Christian Coalition and ran for president in 1988, losing to eventual winner George H.W. Bush. Robertson was well-known for his CBN talk show, the “700 Club.” During the Korean War, he also served in the Marine Corps.
The Christian broadcaster significantly influenced the Republican Party’s political emphasis on religion.
Robertson passed away at his Virginia home at 93 early on Thursday.
Announcing his death, CBN said, “With great sadness, we announce that Dr. M.G. ‘Pat’ Robertson has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior today. Thank you for your prayers for the Robertson family and the ministry of CBN at this time.”
“Pat Robertson dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel, helping those in need, and educating the next generation,” the network added.
As a prominent religious person, Robertson frequently sparked debate.
He gained significant notoriety for blaming the 9/11 attacks on the homosexual rights movement and abortion in the United States and for asserting that Haiti’s devastating 2010 earthquake was caused by its citizens’ “pact with the devil” during their struggle for independence from France.
Civil rights organizations criticized several of his statements, and now that he has passed away, his detractors are openly mocking him as “rest in hell” is trending on Twitter. The messages that have been posted demonstrate how genuinely “accepting” and “loving” the Democratic Party is.
As usual, the liberals who are bleeding hearts are behaving badly.
After hearing news of Robertson’s death, far-Left artist Anis Jerbi posted a disgusting message on social media, saying, “Rest in Hell, Pat Robertson. May his soul be cursed, and may the wrath of Satan be unleashed upon him for eternity. Rush Limbaugh has a new neighbor.”
Another left-wing troll posted, “The best news since Rush Limbaugh died. Rest in Hell, Pat Robertson. Let me know where his grave is, so I can piss on it.”
Ricky J. Marc, another radical left-wing political commentator, tweeted, “‘Rest in hell, bozo’ is trending again online, and I’d be lying if I said I found it distasteful. This guy earned it.”
Another Twitter user who, according to her Twitter bio, enjoys to “read, bitch, & knit,” posted, “Normally, I don’t dance on graves. But that ***hole deserves a special seat in hell. He preached poison and destroyed lives. Rest in hell Pat Robertson. May you relive the worst day of your life for eternity.”
Can you not feel the tolerance and inclusion of others from the left?
This is incredibly sad and whether or not you liked Robertson, dancing on someone’s grave is incredibly disrespectful.
The man did a lot of amazing things for so many people and lead even more to Christ.
I just hope that Pat’s family rests knowing that he has entered the Lord’s Kingdom and is in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
