A body modification enthusiast underwent more than $100,000 in head-to-toe transformation, including hundreds of tattoos and various radical procedures, sharing her journey on social media.
Amber Luke from Brisbane, shared a never-before-seen image of herself before investing $120,000 in a comprehensive head-to-toe metamorphosis.
Her transformation included approximately 600 tattoos, costing $50,000, one of which involved injecting blue ink into her eyeballs – a procedure lasting 40 minutes that rendered her blind for three weeks. Additionally, she devoted $70,000 to various radical body modifications, such as cheek and lip fillers, a tongue split, pointed ear implants, breast augmentation, and a Brazilian butt lift.
Luke, who refers to herself as the “blue-eyed white dragon girl,” posted a pre-transformation photo showcasing just a quote tattoo on her collarbone and a small piercing on her cheekbone. Captioning the Instagram Story, she wrote, “No face tattoos, just a dermal [piercing]. We’ve all got to start somewhere.”
She later shared an image of herself at 18 years old, sporting a naked face and quotes inked along her ribs. In the caption, she described her past self as “catatonically depressed, suicidal, and a walking dead girl.” She went on to say that she has now transformed into someone she is proud of – a strong woman who knows what she wants and who she is.
In November, Luke disclosed her three-week blindness following the eyeball procedure. She described the excruciating sensation of Barcroft TV, likening it to having ten shards of glass rubbed in her eye four times per eye. She admitted that the procedure was brutal and not meant to cause blindness when done correctly.
Luke has since stated that she does not plan to undergo such extreme modifications again, ruling out further tongue splitting or eyeball tattooing. She confessed to Daily Mail Australia that she detested her plain appearance before the modifications, feeling that she was not herself and lacked excitement. However, she acknowledged that her journey is not yet complete.
Expressing no regrets about her decade-long transformation, Luke dismissed concerns about aging. She rationalized that everyone ages and that no one will look “pretty” at 70 years old, emphasizing that her modifications are the only things she can take to her grave.
Since her transformation, Luke has received varied reactions. While many strangers have offered support and positivity, a few have tried to make her feel inadequate with their negativity. However, she remains unfazed by their opinions. Luke asserts that she is not harming anyone and that if her modifications make her happy, that is what matters.
