Does Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., need a refresher course in air travel manners?
According to TMZ, the independent presidential contender did something odd earlier this month on an American Airlines aircraft from Portland to Dallas.
He was captured on camera making his way down the aisle of the plane—barefoot.

“RFK JR is a really strange dude,” wrote social media user @joncoopertweets, whose bio on X describes himself as a New York Democratic politician and “gay dad of five kids.”
According to TMZ, a member of the Kennedy dynasty was observed on the trip by Justin Haskins of the conservative Heartland Institute think group.
Haskins claims that the cabin floor was covered with trash, including crumbs from passengers’ in-flight meals.
“The floor is covered with food, and, like, disgusting food!” Haskins said on the podcast “Stopping Socialism TV with Justin and Donald.”
“He goes into the restroom sockless and shoeless,” Hasking said. Something I’ve literally never seen in my entire life … Absolutely disgusting, right?”
“And I’m thinking, ‘This guy is a presidential candidate!’”
The incident was enough to disqualify Kennedy as a candidate in the eyes of Haskins.
“This man needs to be removed from the race immediately,” he said.

Kennedy doesn’t appear to have officially addressed the in-flight incident.
At the beginning of his unlikely run for president, Kennedy was a Democrat who campaigned on the platform of being a change from President Joe Biden and the rest of the party establishment.
He is now an independent and is predicted to receive a low percentage of votes in the 2024 race.

Aside from his surname, Kennedy is well-known for publicly opposing the use of vaccines, specifically the COVID-19 immunizations.
Lawyer and activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the son of the former attorney general and nephew of the late Democratic president John F. Kennedy.
In 1963, JFK was in his third year as president when he was killed. While campaigning for the Democratic nomination for president in 1968, RFK was shot and killed.
