A recall of around 2,000 cases of Coca-Cola products has been ordered owing to the possibility of “potential foreign material.”
According to a Food and Drug Administration report, three 12-packs of 12-ounce aluminum cans are being recalled: Sprite, Fanta Orange, and Diet Coke.
Sprite was recalled 1,557 times, Diet Coke 417 times, and Fanta Orange 14 times.

Fanta Orange and Sprite both have an expiration date of July 29, 2024, whereas Diet Coke has an expiration date of January 29, 2024.
United Packers, LLC, situated in Alabama, announced the voluntary recall on November 6.
The status is currently indicated as continuing.
It was classified as a Class II recall by the FDA.
Per the FDA, Class II is described as “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
According to the FDA report, the three states affected by the recall are Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.
According to Fox Business, a Coca-Cola spokeswoman indicated that the “limited quantity” recall affected 48 shops.
“Coca-Cola Bottling UNITED voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of Fanta Orange, Sprite and Diet Coke in a total of 48 stores in the following markets: Valparaiso, FL; Robertsdale and Mobile, AL; Gulfport and Ocean Springs, MS,” the representative told the outlet on Thursday.
“No impacted product remains in the market, and all recall activities in those markets are complete.”
NBC reported a Coca-Cola official said the “recall is complete, and there are no more affected cans on the market.”
According to USA Today, Coca-Cola experienced a similar event in 2021.
The business was forced to stop selling “Minute Maid products due to the potential presence of foreign objects, specifically metal bolts or washers.”
Three products were recalled in 2021: Berry Punch, Fruit Punch, and Strawberry Lemonade. In total, approximately 7,500 cases were recalled.
